About the Artist

Alex Maertz is an illustrator based in Cumberland, BC. Born a stone’s throw from the woods, she instinctively draws on nature as an inspiration and a guide. Alex loves to use simple shapes, patterns and colours to create an organic feel that connects people with the great outdoors.
